The Occult Shooter Loop: Originally born as Cuisine Royale and evolved by Darkflow Software and Gaijin Entertainment into CRSED: F.O.A.D. (Cuisine Royale Second Edition: Fulfillment of All Desires), this free-to-play Last-Man-Standing shooter pairs realistic military weapon ballistics with a Sinner Soul economy. Every kill, gravestone smashing, and digested IV food bag fuels Champion Ultimate Abilities, Hex Traps, and map-wide Mystic Blood Rituals that can flood the battlefield, summon zombie hordes, or plunge the island into a pitch-black Solar Eclipse.
1. The Sinner Soul Economy: Harvesting Dark Energy on the Battlefield
In standard battle royale shooters, passive edge-camping in a bathroom until the final circle carries zero mechanical penalty. In CRSED: F.O.A.D., passive hiding starves you of the most decisive resource in the final zone: Sinner Souls.
You accumulate Sinner Souls throughout the match via three distinct actions:
1. Eliminating Enemy Sinners: Downing and finishing hostile combatants drops their accumulated soul pool plus a gravestone that can be harvested.
2. Smashing Cemetery Gravestones & Coffin Caches: Every village graveyard on Normandy, Mexico, and Siberia contains breakable headstones that yield immediate starter souls during the opening two minutes.
3. Eating & Drinking With an IV Regen Bag: Consuming scavenged food restores HP; if your health bar is already at 100%, equipping an IV Dropper / Regen Bag converts excess digested food calories directly into bonus Sinner Souls!

2. Champion Tier Breakdown: Choosing Your Supernatural Kit
Before dropping into a solo, duo, or squad match in CRSED: F.O.A.D., you select a Champion, each possessing a signature supernatural ultimate ability powered by Sinner Souls:
| Champion | Signature Supernatural Ability | Soul Cost / Cooldown | Tactical Role & Final Circle Synergy |
| :--- | :--- | :--- | :--- |
| Annie ("Pin-Up" Time Weaver) | Bullet Time Slow-Mo | Medium Souls | Slows personal time perception and highlights enemy silhouettes in glowing red; lethal with bolt-action sniper rifles and semi-auto DMRs |
| Ocelotl (Aztec Jaguar Priest) | Spirit Walk (Ghost Phase) | Medium-High Souls | Enters an invisible, invulnerable ethereal dimension to walk straight behind enemy squads or escape a shrinking Dark Zone |
| Clyde ("The Beast" Mullican) | Beast Mode Berserker | High Souls | Transforms into a hyper-fast, bulletproof melee juggernaut that leaps across rooftops and shreds indoor campers |
| Bokor (Voodoo Houngan) | Raise Dead Zombie Squad | High Souls | Summons three armed AI Voodoo Zombies that track nearby enemies, fire submachine guns, and flush snipers out of bushes |
| Katrina ("Stone Shield") | Geodesic Rock Armor | Medium Souls | Encases herself in temporary regenerating stone armor to survive open-field rotations |
| Viper (Flicker Assassin) | Multi-Dash Blink | Low-Medium Souls | Executes three rapid directional teleports to break enemy crosshair tracking in close-quarters SMG duels |

3. Global Blood Rituals & Tactical Hex Signs
Beyond your Champion's innate ability, you customize a loadout wheel of Hex Signs (Traps) and Global Rituals painted directly onto the ground:
- Ritual of Solar Eclipse: Plunges the entire map into blood-red darkness, blinding long-range scope snipers unless they carry thermal optics or night-vision rituals.
- Ritual of Fast Run / Low Gravity: Multiplies sprint velocity or jump height across the lobby—combine with Hermes Knee Pads and a Jetpack to cross 500 meters of open terrain in seconds.
- Directional Launch Pads & Teleportation Portals: Paint a jump-pad trap at the base of a three-story bell tower to vault straight onto an enemy sniper's roof without climbing audible interior stairs.
