Tapping parry right before the blade connects deflects the attack with heavy sparks, throwing the adversary into staggering recovery frames where two light strikes and a heavy strike are guaranteed to land.
2. The Mirror Focus Mechanic & Time Manipulation
As Senua blocks, parries, and takes damage, the polished iron mirror on her right hip accumulates supernatural luminescence. When fully charged, press the Focus button to release a blinding flash that freezes all enemy motion in time for 4 seconds. Use this window to carve through shielded Norse warlords without their guards interfering.
3. Spatial Perspective & Glyph Puzzle Alignment
Throughout mythic Iceland, Senua encounters rune gates sealed by ancient Norse glyphs. To unlock them, locate physical environmental elements that form the shape of the rune when viewed from a precise vantage point: intersecting tree branches, cracks in volcanic basalt columns, or shadows cast across turf walls. Align your camera until the floating red glyph shards lock into place.
